Planning

As part of the project the students will use the Internet to carry out research into the industry as well as plan and organize a trip to a youth hostel. During this visit the students will learn about the financial aspects of the business, draw a comparison with other forms of visitors’ accommodation in the area, as well as visit local businesses.

Though out England and Wales there are 225 Youth Hostels and 4, 000 worldwide. By covering the whole country, Youth Hostels enable people of experience a wide variety of cultural activity. From the beautiful Lake District to the very interesting sites of London.

‘To help all, especially young people of limited means, to a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside, particularly by providing hostels or other simple accommodation for them in their travels, and thus to promote their health, rest and education’.
Mission Statement of the Youth Hostelling Association

This quote is true because a youth hostel always cares for you. Youth Hostels give you a fair cost so you don’t have to worry a lot. Cleaner beds for happier guests so you can put Youth Hostels up to the test
