'It is vitally important that students are given the opportunity and experience of enterprise in order to better consider a career path for themselves and equip them for the world of commerce.

The pathfinder programme gives the students real live opportunities to deal with issues common in normal working life - working in a team, finance, taking risk, marketing and selling.

As the various pathfinder projects ran the students continued to surprise in terms of enthusiasm and entrepreneurship. This programme allows them to take the initiative and think laterally about a service, product or problem with successes and some failure being a positive learning experience.'
